If you look at what it is supplying, thirty half inch tubes, the 1 1/4 size seems about right. In fact, though it is overkill and 1″ pipe would have been plenty since none of the half inch tubes will ever need as many gallons per minute as the tube could deliver. This delivery system could delivery many times more heat than will ever be needed.
