Whose faces appear during mind-bending in “The Brain of Morbius”?
This is frequently asked but not-so-frequently answered! It is obvious that they are not the Doctor because we know that there were no regenerations before the series started. However, it has been pointed out that they do not appear to be Morbius either, as he appears to be winning the contest. Therefore, there is only one conclusion. The Doctor is cheating! He may have been using future selves (in other words, he is looping himself) or the Time Lords may have been helping (they had sent him, so maybe they were helping telepathically) so that Morbius didn’t have a chance.
