Whose afraid of Monsters ?
This is a wonderful children’s book. Very colorful and easy for little hands to hold. Book was written by Ed Emberley and Published by the Little, Brown and Company. Copywritten in 1992. This book features pages with cut-outs on them and when the child flips the pages he builds the Monsters face right to his hair as well. In the middle of the book when the child flips the pages it takes away a feature from this monsters face. It really is a great book for the child that is fearful of such things as Monsters in the way that it teaches the child that even though Monsters can appear in one’s mind, they can also disappear just as easily. My children ages 7, 4, 2 really enjoy this book because they can interact with it as well as read along with the simple story line. The book also teaches the child color recognition though the colors are really not your primary one’s because the green is more of a bluish on the Monsters nose. But for the most part, it really is a great book for children.
