Whos the most versatile player in NBA?
If by versatile you mean being able to play outside of your natural position, there are several players that come to mind. LeBron James is the first name that comes to mind due to a combination of his strength, speed, size, and skills. Another name that pops up often is Lamar Odom, who plays the 4 position but is more agile than most power forwards and can spread the defense due to his ability to drain the 3.
kobe bryant – can score anywhere on the court and can guard the opposing team’s best perimeter player lebron james – can play all 5 positions because of his size unbelievable speed, strength and leaping ability dwyane wade – can blow by any defender thrown at him active on defense dwight howard – very rare for a big man to have that kind of leaping ability plus superhuman strength
Versatile; meaning do EVERYTHING including handling the ball, score, rebound, assist and playing all or most positions offensively and defensively. Just thought I would mention that, since some people seem to have forgot that, just by looking at their answers. Anyway, with all that being said, I would have to say LeBron James. Name a bigger guy who can handle the ball like a point guard better than him and name a smaller guy who can rebound and block shots. Once again, JAMES!
