On C-SPAN — the only truly unbiased source of political news — they’re showing various campaign rallies from today, including one featuring Huck playing bass with a local New Hampshire band. The best part: they’re playing CCR’s Fortunate Son. That’s an awesome song, even when played by a no-name New Hampshire bar band. Also, I can’t help but wonder whether the “Fortunate Son” he’s playing for is supposed to be Mitt Romney. — The best part about Romney winning. The Country Club Repubs are totally freaking out about the “corn-sucking idiots” (ie evangelical voters) they share a party with. After making so much hay about how the Democrats don’t get the folks in the flyovers, the mainstream right is going nuts. Oh the audacity of the corn-suckers to vote for someone with whom they might see eye-to-eye.
