Whos the best (TV sports anchor) bagger on the block?
Portland’s TV sports reporter/anchor types dueled in a “Celebrity Bagging Contest” to help the BFT Foundation over the holiday. They bagged at Safeway in the Pearl, the food went to a local shelter, and the money raised during the event went to help kids in the area participate in co-curricular activities. An 11-year old Duck fan dropped off $250 in contributions he gathered from working his neighborhood and telling them how they can get involved. Really cool gesture, I thought. KGW’s Adam Bjaranson, KATU’s Craig Birnbach, FOX 12’s Matt Smith and KOIN’s Dan Christopherson squared off for the good cause.
