Whos Othello in Shakespeare? ?
Othello was a Moore, a black Muslim, general in the army of Venice. He fell in love with and married Desdemona, the white daughter of a noble of Venice. There was racism against him. Also, he appointed Michael Casio his aide. Iago was envious of Casio’s appointment and successfully plotted the fall of Othello. Casio was supposed to have been murdered, but he survived the attack. When Othello found out he had murdered his wife for no reason at all, he killed himself. Iago was arrested and executed. I left out some important things, but that’s basically the play.
