Whos Haunting Carroll College?
Many of the weird occurrences at this college have taken place in St. Charles Hall, where a blocked-off fourth-floor bathroom with mysterious bloodlike stains on the sink has generated all kinds of rumors. A tragedy did occur there about thirty years ago, but many students at Carroll College, as well as a number of faculty and staff, have never heard the truth about it. Matthew Kelly ( a pseudonym ) was a student at Carroll College in the early 1960’s. Well liked and fun-loving, Matt returned to the dorm late on night after partying in Helena. He had probably had too much to drink and when he was in the bathroom that is now blocked off, he somehow fell and hit his head, causing a severe cerebral hemorrhage, from which he died. One of his friends David Miller said that after he died him and his friends would here knocking at there dorm room doors. When they would open there doors there wouldn’t be anyone there.
