Wholl open the bidding for the soon-to-be vacant Illinois gubernatorial seat?
We knew that Blago was corrupt. It is widely known that he had been under investigation for corruption for quite a while. And for this reason the FBI had been tapping his phone lines. Now we know that Blago was also a complete moron too. Such a moron (was Blago) to have phone conversations asking for bribes while he was knowingly under investigation. What an idiot. As a Chicagoan and A liberal (Who voted against Blago in 2006) Good Riddance Governer! Everyone I talk to says the same thing too. Our choices in Illinois are so often between 2 known corrupt candidates. It is good for us to have some of these A-holes held accountable. People on Y!A and other sites like it often deride Chicago and Illinois for it’s dirty politics. To them I say…Thanks and keep up the good work! I also live in Rahm-Ville and I’m happy to see him go too. I am not sure of how he might be involved with Blago or Rezko or the others, but I’m glad he will be safely stashed away in Obama’s cabinet.
