Who writes the music and lyrics for Starfall?
Starfall is the musical and lyrical collaboration that comes from Austin and Jeb’s friendship, so everything was written by us together. Most of the lyrics, with the exception of “A Sound In My Eyes” (track 2) and “Lions & Lambs” (track 7), were written by Austin. Again though, Starfall is a team and so Jeb added things here and there too lyrically. Musically, Austin had a few of the songs already written, but then Jeb brought a bunch more musical stuff to those songs as well, so we consider all of Starfall’s music to be written by both of us. The only songs that Austin did all the music and lyrics for by himself were “A Fire In My Bones” (track 6), “Jeanette” (track 8), and “Like The Morning” (track 11) – all other music and lyrics were the combined effort of both Jeb and Austin as Starfall.
