Who writes the Applied Practice workbooks?
We have in-house writers and we contract with numerous free-lance writers. We are careful in our screening so that we contract only with the highest quality teachers and former teachers to write to our rigid standards. I noticed you have SAT* test prep materials. Do you also carry ACT test prep materials? Yes. We recently introduced a line of ACT* test prep materials for the Fall 2009 school year. Please check back throughout the school year as additional titles become available. How would I cite your publications in my AP Syllabus for the College Board? To cite our test prep booklets as a resource in your teaching syllabus, you should know that the titles of nearly all our publications begin with “Applied Practice in …” Also, we do not identify individual writers by name, so the author should be cited simply as “Applied Practice, Ltd.” Our headquarters are located in Dallas, Texas, and the year of copyright will vary from one title to another.
