Captain Sens – you need to check things out before you make any comments. Bruce Lee became an actor when he came to attention of a TV producer during a MARTIAL arts demonstration. In others words thicko he was already prolific in the martial arts. The producer was so impressed with speed, style and grace that he wanted him to take a role in the Green Hornet. In a boxing match Ali would probably win if he caught Lee but BL may have been tough enough and quick enough to get a points victory – doubtful though. If you watch MMA you will note that in most fights the fighters who are well rounded in a number of disciplines are the most competitive especially as it has progressed. The big hitters/boxers can have their moments – Tank Abbot, Butterbean etc but all the top champions have been multi skilled martial artists who can both stand up and do ground work – Tito Ortez, Chuck Liddell, Ken Shamrock, The Gracies etc. To be successful consistently you need good submission work as well.
