Thing is, Cassuis Clay as he was known from 1960 to 1965 was the young, speedy, inexpierienced professional with only 19 fights under his belt, although he beat Liston for the heavyweight title, he wasnt ever really involved in a scrap such as the way he was in his 30’s against Frazier and Foreman, he purely relied on psyhcologically destroying his opponent before the fight and then purely relying on his sheer footwork, hand speed and ring savy to win, never having really been tested in a scuffle, he even seemed quite vunrable, he was known for keeping his hands down but the young Cassius Clay was at times vunrable and would get caught with good shots (see the fight against Henry Cooper), So overall for the Clay/Ali of 1960 to 1965: 1, Better handspeed. 2.
