Who would provide MCLE courses in Maryland?
The proposed MCLE Commission would have the duty to accredit MCLE courses and activities, consistent with standards set forth in the MCLE Rule. The Commission would also be able to designate qualified organizations or persons as Accredited Sponsors, whose courses and activities would be presumptively approved for MCLE credit. Those organizations could include bar associations and other collegial groups already in existence.
