I think what it came down to was they where sick and tired of having to list their religion so they though feck it every time we ask it is going to be jedi and maybe the powers that be might learn to mind their own business

There are presently 1500 different religious sects. 1501 won’t make a difference. And a religion doesn’t need followers in order to be tax exempt. They just have to hold a service regularly.
