Who would enjoy raising Sea-Monkeys?
For science teachers, Dads and Moms, and anyone interested in life itself, Sea-Monkeys are clearly an educational experience not to be missed. Seeing life come from dry powdered eggs, is pretty darn amazing! The kits average around ten bucks and they make for a great conversation starter with visitors to either home or office. Once your colony is thriving make sure you don’t tip it over, like one of my coworkers accidentally did, or you’ll have some unhappy brine shrimp shrivelling up before your eyes. Sea-Monkey CPR is not covered in the book, although there is a chapter on First Aid. Do a search on the web and you’ll find some interesting pages dedicated to Sea-Monkeys! Clearly this is some sort of cult thing. I found Sea-Monkey tribute pages left and right, some featuring haiku, advice, and more. Spend the ten dollars yourself and you won’t be disappointed .
