Who would be a good candidate for a tankless water heater?
Basically there are 4 types of reasons and some folks are a combination of them 1. Anyone who runs out of hot water. You might have a large family and you are waiting for your turn to get in the shower only to find out you are out of hot water. 2. Space Saving. Put a tankless water heater outside the house and use that space for other things. A typical water heater takes up 12 sq. ft. In socal, our real estate is worth approx. $500 per sq. ft so this could increase the value of your home. 3. Mold is the new asbestos. Water damage can be costly and your insurance can go up if you have a claim. This will lead to increased premiums for you and will follow the home to the next buyer. Get that water heater outside the house. We have pipe covers to hide the piping along with recessed boxes to hide the unit completely. 4.
