Who works on TTS?
AT&T has a very long history in speech synthesis, beginning in Bell Labs and continuing in the newly formed AT&T Labs following the Lucent spin-off in 1996. Initially at Murray Hill, we are now located in Florham Park, NJ. Though our research team is relatively small, we have leveraged available resources to create a ground-breaking TTS system in AT&T Natural Voices™. And although TTS has advanced considerably in the past few years there is still much room for improvement, and research continues. You can learn more about our work on the Publications page.
