Kenyan Abraham Ng’etich won the 31st annual Mountain Goat Run in downtown Syracuse, New York on May 3, 2009. His winning time was 50 minutes, 56 seconds. Defending champion Joseph Ekuom was second with a time of 51:13; and Mathew Kiplagat was third with a time of 51:16. This year’s 10-mile race had a record field of 2,000 runners.
