Who won the George Watson Essay Contest?
A. First place went to Kalindy Smith, who receives a mug and a song written by Barry Mitchell. Second place went to list member Karen Kanter, who receives two songs written by Barry Mitchell. The contest had two parts; the first was to distinguish between two nearly identical Watson essays (the difference was that an event was refered to as happening “tomorrow” in the first essay, and “today” in the second; also the second time around Watson did not wear his trademark Afro wig); and then, for the persons who caught the difference, to compose a World News Now limerick.
