Who won the election for Vice President?
The Vice President is indirectly elected by the people through the Electoral College to a four year term. The Vice President is the first person in the presidential line of succession, if the president resigns, dies or removed from public office. The Vice President is appointed by the President of the United States, subject to approval by both Houses of Congress.
