Who won the battle of thermopylae?
The Battle of Thermopylae was a famous battle between the Persian forces of Xerxes and the Spartans, who were led by King Leonidas. The battle took place in 480BC. Although the Persians outnumbered the Spartans by a ratio of more than 10:1, the Spartans held up the Persians for more than three days. Ultimately, however, the Persians overtook the Spartans.
