Who won at Lexington and Concord on April 19 1775?
The British won the first encounter at Lexington Green but the resistance there gave the Patriots at Concord more time to prepare. Although it was not a deciding victory for the Minutemen, they saved the arms and ammunition the British came to destroy and chased them all the way back to Boston with a significant number of casualties.
