Who will win the NAB Cup?
After their win last night, Carlton again look promising for the pre-season cup. Geelong reckon they are going to make their intentions known from the word ‘go’, so I say they are serious contenders. However, they are fielding a number of younger, unproved players, so it’s not like the side will be as strong as it will in the home and away season. Collingwood, on the other hand, have a line-up eerily similar to the team they took into the finals last year, so it looks like they might be a chance. It appears they are taking this seriously – either that, or they’re desperate for the prize money after the millions they lost investing in those pubs a year or two ago.
