Who will win the 2010 NRL Grand final, and WHY?
Give the season a chance to start first, it’s not even 2010 yet. Raiders are a very young team and just aren’t there yet. Give them a few more years and they’ll creep up the ladder. At the moment they just need to build on experience. I think it’s anyone’s year, I don’t think Parra have any advantage. This year everyone thought Manly would be there based on the previous year and that didn’t happen. All I will say is I hope the Storm don’t make it again.. It’s bordering on unfair, they need to be disallowed for a year and give someone else a chance. Whoever wins, it will be because they were the better team on the day.
The Cowboys this year for sure! Most likely Thurston’s last year in the NRL and he is keen as, to win a GF with the Cows. Once his partner in crime (on the field) Bowen is back with two brand new knee’s. There attacking combination will be something to watch (and watch it live is the best). But its not just what they do with the ball that counts, its how both of them, mainly Matty direct the rest of the team. Plus they will be playing of one of the best forward packs in the NRL. Matt Scott is now set to be a leader of the pack, he is bigger and fitter than last year. Luke O’Donnell’s defence is bone crushing, just ask Dave Taylor. I can’t wait for 2010 season to start.
