Who will the Seattle Seahawks take in the draft?
Even after signing Houshmanzadeh, the team still could, in theory, draft Michael Crabtree. Along with Burleson and Branch, the team suddenly would have a very potent WR corps. But I’m guessing they wait until later in the draft to bolster the WR corps. Offensive tackle is a very strong possibility, and not simply because of team needs (Walter Jones is not getting any younger & Locklear didn’t have a good season.) The Seahawks likely will be able to choose from at least three of the top four OTs in the draft. The team’s other top needs (safety, WR, LB), aren’t well met by the prospects available at #4 (assuming that LB Aaron Curry is drafted by Detroit, St. Louis or Kansas City.) Right now, unless the team trades up to take Curry, all signs point to taking the best available OT (probably Eugene Monroe.
