• A benefit of flu center is that it serves vulnerable populations. • Need planning group – some feel they have that established already. • A benefit of flu center would help to not overwhelm ER’s. • Better to be more/over prepared than not to be able to handle sit. • May be a good time to talk to politicians about funding. Need increase! • PH entity • Dissemination of information/Anti virals/triage • Alternate care site for people convalescing • Limited scope based on resources • Triage/anti vitals • Use PH – pulls together staff that can help – retired nurse, MD, etc. • Phone bank / with voicemail and education • Start early educating public on a care site. When it happens public is aware.
