Who will sway the uncommitted?
Boyne Ian Boyne, Contributor The recent Stone Poll showing that the PNP was in a dead heat with the Opposition JLP has confounded many reputedly “keen” political observers and party watchers who had already written the PNP’s political eulogy. But the reports of the party’s death have been greatly exaggerated! How could the PNP, after shattering the local political taboo against a third term victory, be looking to a fourth term – at a time when crime is high, economic growth anaemic and employment creation way below everyone’s, including the Government’s, expectations? Two years ago many people were wondering whether the Government could even complete its term in office, let alone to be looking seriously to starting yet another term. After 13 years in office even a Government with a much better performance than the present one would be looking to pack its bag, as people would, naturally, be looking for fresh faces and fresh ideas. But it seems dem a go tired fi si the present set of fac
