Who will raise the crops to sell at the markets?
We will follow Government child labor laws but the children (under the supervision of an adult) will be required to have “Jobs” and take ownership of their orphanage. These experiences are important for teaching children social skills and developing their little minds to become cognitively higher-level thinkers. Douglas’s philosophy is that, “Sacrifices were made by our members when they donated their time and money, therefore, the children must also learn to (sacrifice) by devoting their time to prayers, studying, and healthy work relationships. Yes, will have fun activities for the children but our members are entrusting that we will make life changes and we will teach this though our values of education and hard work in a Christian ambiance of morals and values.
