WHO will Protest against sexual degradation (false liberation of women) with me?
Ummm…who cares? You can’t legislate morality, and anyone who has ever tried to do so has failed miserably. Yes, hookers, porn stars, and other women employed in the adult film industry are kinda bad role models, but to say they should be protested and banned is ridiculous bordering on insane. In your “righteous indignation” you’ve forgotten a few things. a) Women aren’t the only ones employed by the Adult Entertainment industry. There are male porn stars, male prostitute and nude magazines featuring men just as there are with women. So the whole adult entertainment being “sexist” angle is pretty unsubstantiated. In fact, porn is one of the few industries where the women actually earn far more $ than the men. b) Its not the job of society and the environment around you to raise your child. It’s YOUR responsibility. Yes, pornography is degrading but many jobs are degrading, yet people pursue them anyway. Nobody forces these women into it, they do it for the money and thats SELF degrada
