Who will perform the physical inventory?
Teams consisting of four to five people each will conduct the inventory concurrently at sites across the Commonwealth. Each team will be responsible for a specific geographical area. Depending on the site’s size, the inventory visits are expected to take half a day to five days to complete. Inventory activities will be performed with oversight from VITA and Northrop Grumman. The teams will receive training specific to the data collection process and awareness of appropriate agency protocols. Team members will undergo background checks and drug screenings. Inventory team staffing will include extra personnel, if necessary, to minimize disruptions to agency customers’ normal business operations.
