Who will participate in a mandatory furlough?
Employees in FTE positions (classified and unclassified), temporary, time limited positions, and temporary grant positions are eligible to participate in a mandatory furlough. The mandatory furlough must be inclusive of all employees in an agency or within a designated department or program. If a mandatory furlough includes the entire agency, the agency head must be included in the furlough.
