Who will operate the scheme once complete, and how will it be used?
It is envisaged that a fully functional management team will be established to oversee the operation of facilities and that this will include representation from the key user groups. The proposals are based upon the findings of a feasibility study which has recently been conducted. The study undertook a range of tasks to identify the strategic need for new facilities, a sport and community local needs assessment and the overall viability of a range of sports facilities. The final facility proposal has been developed as a direct result of these findings and the usage requirements that have been identified.
