Who will not be covered by the new grade structure?
The staff who will not be covered by the National Framework Agreement include Professorial staff and some senior managers. The University is committed to completing a new final grade (Grade M) for the University of Bristol single Pay spine into which those staff will move in due course. The anticipated completion date for this step is 1 August 2008. Clinical academic staff, trainees/apprentices and some holders of Personal Research Fellowships are also not covered by the National Framework Agreement.
