A CFEC permit is required for all vessel operators and any individuals who will be fishing and selling seafood product on behalf of the actual allocation holder. This includes anyone fishing and selling product for IFQ permit holders, including cooperatives, fishing under a CDQ allocation (other than that for Norton Sound king crab), and individuals fishing the golden king crab allocation to the Community of Adak.
