As per the Settlement Agreement and Stipulation, lands that are deemed unnecessary for current and future operations and maintenance of PG&Es hydropower projects and related delivery facilities can be transferred to a qualified donee (either a public entity or a non-profit organization). The Stewardship Council is developing an explicit set of criteria that will be used to evaluate potential donee organizations. Donees interested in future ownership and/or management of the lands will be selected during the disposition process.
