Who will manage and pay for the park going forward?
If the proposal to build the new Crystal Palace on the top site is approved, we propose that a Charitable Trust be established to manage the park and the new Crystal Palace as the centre piece of the park. We propose that there be three separate entities working together to manage the New Crystal Palace and its renewed Crystal Palace Park. • The Landowner, Bromley Council; • A New Crystal Palace Charitable Trust; and a • A project delivery and operating company. The relationship between these three parties is described below: The Landowner is Bromley Council. The LDA currently has an option to acquire it which finishes in March 2009. As the landowner Bromley Council could then lease the land on which the new Crystal Palace would be built to the New Crystal Palace Charitable Trust.
