Who will make the ultimate budget decisions: SCC and Principal, Principal, or SCC?
The SCC and principal develop the academic and budget plan based upon student performance at the school. The plans are submitted to the CAS for approval with regards to legal compliance and statewide educational policy and standards. The principal may make minor adjustments to the plan but must seek SCC approval for substantial changes. In the event of a disagreement the CAS works with both the SCC and principal to achieve either agreement or, lacking agreement, to make the final decision.
