Who will last longer, Tom Petty, Or Willie Nelson?
I think both of their musical legacies will still be around for a loooong time, but when all’s said and one, Willie Nelson will probably outlast Petty, if only because Tom Petty’s music appeals more to the rock crowd, which is progressing much faster than Willie Nelson’s style of folk and country music. There are folk songs out there that are hundreds of years old and *Still* being covered. If you mean the actual men themselves… I have a sneaking suspicion that Willie Nelson is secretly god, and will therefor live for all eternity.
