Who will know about the mediation?

0

The mediation process is confidential. When a dispute is between two employees, or involves a supervisor, the program manager or principal will be notified that a mediation is occurring or has been requested. However, they are not privy to the information shared during mediation sessions. Any agreements that result, may be shared with supervisors, and may be subject to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act. However, all other documents and notes produced during a mediation are immediately destroyed, and at no time do any related documents become a part of an employee’s official personnel file.
