WHO WILL HEAR MY APPEAL?

0

A. The Appeals Service will arrange for hearing of your appeal by an independent panel.

0

The Appeal Panel consists of 3 (or sometimes 5) people who are independent of both the school and the Local Authority and are not involved in decisions about school admissions in Camden. The Panel members do, however, have knowledge of education provision or of educational conditions in the area. There will also be a clerk at the meeting whose job is to advise the Panel on procedures and to take notes of the hearing. It is only the members of the Appeal Panel who decide the outcome of your appeal, based on the information provided to them.
