Who will have TennCare Medicaid?
In order to qualify for TennCare Medicaid, a person must meet the income and eligibility criteria for one of the groups that TennCare will still cover (see below). To qualify in one of these groups, your income must be below the limit for that group — they’re not all the same. Qualification may also depend on how many people live in your household. Some of the groups also have limits on what you own — your “resources” — which may include bank accounts, cars and land.
