Who will get published?
The readers will decide. Once a manuscript is shown on the Slush Pile Reader site it is up to the readers. If the readers like a manuscript they get the opportunity to cast their vote as well as tell you what they think in greater detail. The readers will answer the following question: Should this manuscript be published? The number of votes, in conjunction with a number of filters and weights, will be taken into consideration and periodically the most popular manuscript(s) will be published and marketed by Slush Pile Reader. We at Slush Pile Reader have put a lot of thought and effort into building the best voting system. We can not in detail reveal the machinations behind the algorithm but it is constructed so that it will be the best and fairest system possible. The terms of the contract that Slush Pile Reader offers an author whose work gets chosen for publication will soon be available for download. They terms are based on recommendations from authors’ guilds and unions worldwide.
