Who will benefit by the Central Carleton Rec. Plex?
Town residents and Local Service District residents will benefit from this project. All potential users will benefit by creating a better facility to help improve their health and well being through current and new recreational opportunities that would be made available through such a project. A breakdown in the benefit for each user group would consist of : 1) LSDs and Town Population increased opportunities for health and wellness options (i.e.: walking track, fitness room, etc.); increase in the time the facility would be made available (longer operating hours); and a safer place for everyone to come and participate; 2) Hartland Community School increase in the potential user time (new facility can put ice in earlier; more potential PLAY area (i.e.: walking track, fitness room, open space, etc) and increase our reciprocal use of facility that already exist: and 3) The Business Community provide more promotional opportunities in the earlier stages of the building and through increasi
