Who will become superpower (list atleast 5 countries) by 2050 ?…?
A superpower is country whose economic might and military might are such that they can impose their political will across the globe. Right now, only the USA has that kind of projection ability. Simply because China and India have economies and populations that are growing in wealth does not necessarily mean that they will develop the will to attempt to dominate things on a planetary scale. In fact, neither of those countries has shown any particular historic tendency to leave their “traditional” borders. For a nation to become a superpower, they need a massive navy with aircraft carriers, a nuclear strike ability is not enough. Navies are expensive and developing them runs the risk of threatening the US to a war position. These countries can gain more from diplomacy and much more cheaply. China is unlikely to become the superpower many fear as they have a rapidly aging population just like the west and because of their one child policy, they have a looming demographic crisis ahead.
