Who will be the new Deputy Director and Director of the Bordelais Correctional Facility?
That’s the question being posed by many as the outgoing deputy director; Mr. Gus Small will be spending his last day in his present post on Friday. Gus Small will leave the facility after eight years of service. Small who has been holding on after the departure of the facility’s director, Hilary Herman, says he will be leaving with a sense of mixed emotions. Many thought that Small would be the one to succeed Herman having served as deputy for some time, however, any believe this would not have been the case. Small noted that that politics had a lot to do with the decision regarding who will take up the top position within the correctional facility. Reports indicate that a top female officer within the police force has been picked to be Director of Corrections over former Director Herman and other qualified and experienced persons, all of whom, except the female police officer, had applied for the post at the time the post was advertised.
