Who will be responsible for issuing payment to the Prime Contractors?
The Construction Manager will receive all invoices on behalf of the Owner. The invoices will be reviewed, adjusted if required, and recommended to the Owner for payment. The actual payment of the invoices is the Owners’ responsibility. This may however be handled by the Construction Manager on behalf of the Owner but would actually be considered as additional services unless arranged prior to the original agreement.
