Who will be our officiant?
Actually, I (Rev. Kita) have recently decided that in order to preserve the quality of SoulMates’ services by developing and maintaining close relationships with all SoulMates couples, I will henceforth be the one performing all ceremonies personally. This means that we will be working closely together, start to finish! Sadly, I have heard from many couples whose officiant cancelled at the last minute, not providing them with any alternatives, and leaving them to fend for themselves. (A word to the wise: Certain types of officiants are famous for this—I won’t get specific, but I will say that any time you are dealing with someone for whom officiating weddings is not a primary (or sole) livelihood, you may be asking for trouble.)
