Who will be nominated at the Democratic National Convention next week?
Hillary. Two reasons. Number one: sympathy. In the last week, she’s lost two dear friends/supporters (the Arkansas Democratic chairman who was murdered and the Congresswoman from Cleveland who died today), and she’s going to play that for sympathy, the “Mel Carnahan” effect (Carnahan was elected to the senate after DYING IN A PLANE CRASH solely on sympathy votes). Number two: the Democrats have seen Obama’s poll numbers fall into the toilet. They know they’ll lose the White House, and possibly the House along with it, if they stick with Obama.
