The VA Tech Foundation will be managing the endowment in perpetuity. The endowment will be placed in the VA Tech Portfolio currently earning 4.1% interest annually. The interest generated will be used for the annual $1000 scholarship. Any money, from the interest generated, not used will be placed back into the endowment.
